About this role:
Join our Conference Technology Team where we are committed to delivering exceptional mobile and web experiences for our attendees worldwide. As the Web Engineering Manager you will lead a small dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining our Conference Navigator web application. You will ensure the delivery of highquality reliable and scalable solutions that enhance user experience and meet business objectives.
What youll do:
Develop maintain and enhance clientfacing web applications using Angular 17 and .NET technologies.
Lead mentor and manage a small team of web engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Oversee the planning execution and delivery of development projects ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Provide technical direction and support to the team ensuring best practices in software development and architecture.
Work closely with product owners business analysts UX/UI designers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of conference platforms.
Implement strategies to ensure the reliability performance and security of applications.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies driving continuous improvement in development processes and practices.
Must Haves:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
6 10 years of experience in software development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience managing a small development team (25 engineers).
5 years of experience building client facing enterprise web applications using React/Angular TypeScript NgRx etc.
Experience designing developing and maintaining Microfrontend architecture.
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with nonsql databases.
Familiarity with Storybook Figma and implementing design systems.
Experience with JS testing frameworks such as Jest or Jasmine.
Understanding of UX/UI principles to ensure intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure with a preference for AWS services such as Serverless stack Kubernetes Elastic stack etc.
Excellent diagnostic and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating issues.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Ability to work effectively in a remote global team environment.
Passion for delivering highquality products and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Knowledge of building robust enterprisegrade digital solutions using code design principles such as design patterns data structures and code structures.
Familiarity with coding best practices including code versioning formatting DRY principles modular code and documentation.
Preferred to have:
Experience with C# .NET Core or 5.0 and MS technologies.
Experience with Angular 17
Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Familiarity with native mobile development using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
Experience with Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices.
Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116000 USD 163000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates. We also offer market leading benefit programs including generous PTO a 401k match up to $7200 per year the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount and more.
