Job Overview:
Oliver Wyman Vector is seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Bellevue WA. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing developing testing and maintaining nonembedded software throughout its entire lifecycle. This position requires a deep understanding of industry standards customer needs safety regulations and software development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Software Development Lifecycle:
- Design develop test and maintain nonembedded software solutions that meet industry customer safety and regulatory standards.
- Review analyze and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs.
- System Integration:
- Develop maintain enhance and optimize software products and functionalities for seamless systems integration.
- Documentation and Architecture:
- Develop document and maintain software architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs.
- Debugging and Issue Resolution:
- Debug and resolve software issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of products.
- Handle user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues while analyzing user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Technology Implementation:
- Implement current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
- Process Improvement:
- Develop establish monitor and improve software processes tools and key performance metrics to align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
- Research and Development:
- Execute and document software research and development projects ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Advisory Role:
- Advise on software domains systemspecific issues processes and regulations to enhance project outcomes.
- Performance Tracking:
- Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C# Python or similar.
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with system integrations and architecture design.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
