Role description:
This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3000 talented individuals working in India Romania and Philippines in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to join the Architecture and Urbanism Sustainable Design team. As a Sustainability Specialist you will join a highly collaborative and creative team dedicated to excellence in sustainable design and innovative problem solving. The ideal candidate will be organized detailoriented a selfstarting individual driven to succeed and passionate about sustainability.
The Sustainable Design team uses and develops simulation tools to test design ideas and ensure their feasibility. The team developed CLIMATESCOUT a free climate analysis tool. The building performance simulations typical in our practice include: climate analysis solar energy life cycle analysis (LCA) daylight and glare and outdoor microclimate studies. Modeling includes early phase building simulations for design performance and simulations for code or LEED compliance. The Sustainability Specialist will use the appropriate simulation tools during the design process supporting the Sustainable Design team. The team also manages and coordinates green building certification systems such as LEED WELL LBC and others.
