Our Village of Glendale Crossing Retirement located in London Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a New Team Member to join our Casual Housekeeping team.As a new Housekeeping team member joining our Village you will:
Support and embrace our residentcentred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of housekeeping and laundry services to our residents. Our Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members at Schlegel Villages perform a variety of cleaning and housekeeping activities across their Village to ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for residents their families and your colleagues.
To be successful as our new Housekeeping Team Member you will:
- Be committed to following task procedures when completing all housekeeping duties
- Handle residents personal items Village supplies and equipment with care and respect
- Comfortable lifting 1015lbs
- Respects the rights and dignity of all residents families team members and visitors to the Village and addresses any requests with professionalism and care
It would be an asset if our new Housekeeping Team Member has:
- An awareness and understanding of infection control practices workplace hazardous materials and chemicals (WHMIS) as well as all relevant health and safety procedures
