Job Title: Warehouse Associate & Driver CDL RequiredCompany: River Bend FoodbankLocation: Dubuque IAStatus: Part Time Hourly/NonExemptPay Range: $22.00/hour SUMMARY This position performs warehouse duties and operates commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver product within the River Bend Foodbanks (RBFB) service area.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.Loads and unloads product from trucks operating a forklift or pallet jack as needed.Inspects product donations to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards prior to loading/unloading.Helps to pick/fill pack label and process paperwork for orders and deliveries.Delivers excellent customer service to donors and partner agencies answering questions and providing information as requested.Complies with policies and procedures for safe operations and reports concerns needing urgent attention promptly to management.Complies with RBFBs Food Safety Program and all ServSafe food handling requirements.Performs routine inspections cleaning and basic maintenance of warehouse facilities equipment and vehicles as directed.Cultivates positive relations with agencies drivers Foodbank staff volunteers donors and other members of the public.Safely operates a commercial vehicle between the RBFB warehouse and agency site.Maintains vehicle mileage and fuel logs in accordance with RBFB and regulatory policies and procedures.Ensures RBFB vehicles receive routine inspection and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and warranty requirements.Maintains compliance with licensure certifications and physical requirements in accordance with RBFB policies and state and federal D.O.T./FMCSA regulatory requirements.Cultivates positive relations with agencies program participants staff volunteers donors and other members of the public.QUALIFICATIONS - High school or equivalency degree plus positive work history and previous commercial vehicle experience preferably in a food distribution or foodrelated environment.
- Previous forklift and warehousing experience preferred.
- Ability to obtain ServSafe certification.
- Strong work ethic and selfinitiative.
- Strong sense of teamwork with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment and follow instructions.
- Accurate data entry and basic math skills.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and Saturdays with limited overtime.

- Ability to successfully complete a preemployment criminal background investigation driving and safety record verification and drug test.
- Possession of a valid Class A or B commercial drivers license and the ability to meet insurability requirements for operating an organization vehicle required.
