Responsibilities:
Assists in the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements including NDAs
Interface between attorneys and business personnel including sales staff regarding commercial agreements
Maintains tracking system relating to all commercial agreements and provides periodic reports regarding the same
Assists with the management of the departments files and other administrative needs
Manages and files corporate filings with state agencies
Reviews and assists with drafting responses to RFPs and RFIs
Investigates editorial intellectual property and other claims issues
Investigates gathers and distributes documents and other information required pursuant to subpoena demands
Participates in regulatory compliance matters
Provides executive/administrative assistant support to attorneys in the Legal Department.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 35 years of prior paralegal experience
Bachelors Degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be highly organized
Ability to work effectively in highpressure situations
Able to prioritize multiple tasks and assignments
