Position Summary We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive our market access strategy and expand our nationwide reach. In this role you will own and optimize our distributor network spearhead sales enablement and lead key business development efforts with hospitals IDNs and GPOs. Youll also manage the contracting and RFP process ensuring Surgical Republic is approved and listed with major health systems. This role receives direction and warm leads and is eligible for performancebased bonuses.
Key Responsibilities - Distributor Network Management
- Own and manage relationships with independent distributors and sales reps across the U.S.
- Set and track sales targets by distributor and region
- Evaluate distributor performance and support sales enablement efforts
- Strategic Market Access
- Lead business development initiatives with hospitals GPOs and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
- Build and maintain relationships with supply chain managers contracting officers and clinical stakeholders
- Contracting & Sales Enablement
- Support RFP submissions and navigate the contracting process to secure vendor approvals
- Prepare and present value analysis packages product overviews and capability decks to healthcare decisionmakers
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and CRM records of sales activities and distributor interactions
- Internal Alignment
- Collaborate with leadership and operations to align gotomarket messaging and value propositions
- Provide insights on market trends and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions
Qualifications - 5 years of experience in business development sales or account management ideally in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Proven track record of managing distributor networks and driving revenue growth
- Familiarity with hospital procurement processes including IDNs GPOs and RFPs
- Strong presentation negotiation and communication skills
- CRM experience (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) is a plus
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25
