Job Description

Were looking for a true sales enthusiast someone who thrives on building relationships loves the thrill of closing deals and isnt afraid to pick up the phone. As Senior Sales Manager (m/f/x) you will be at the forefront of our entry into DIY stores and brickandmortar retail outlets.

Tasks

  • Lead Generation: Proactively reach out to potential retail partners through cold calls and direct outreach to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Strategic Sales Development: Design and execute sales strategies to successfully launch our products (RepellShield Belly&Paw and GoNaturals) into new channels.
  • Account Management: Build strong longlasting relationships with key retail buyers and partners.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small sales team to execute sales objectives and exceed targets.
  • Retail Channel Penetration: Identify and secure partnerships with major DIY retailers relevant brickandmortar outlets and national distributors.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure including pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends competitor activity and customer feedback to refine strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing Supply Chain and Amazon teams to ensure alignment and execution of gotomarket plans.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports forecasts and performance updates for the CEO.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in FMCG sales placing brands into Germanspeaking retail.
  • Sales Passion: Demonstrated passion for sales with a proactive energetic and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Retail Knowledge: Deep understanding of retail dynamics especially in the DIY/homeimprovement garden centres pet retail and distribution.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Education: Masters degree in Business Marketing or related field.
  • Language Skills: Nativelevel German (C1) and fluent business English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for client meetings trade shows and store visits.
