Job Description
MustHaves
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design commissioning troubleshooting and/or operations of PLC Process and Control Systems for combustion management systems
- Strong PLC Process and Controls expertise (not database process and controls). Must work on the floor with technicians
- International travel required (approximately 35%)
- Office/home base: Carrollton GA
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop design maintain and commission automation & control systems for industrial equipment
- Design and program PLCs drive systems and combustion control systems
- Develop SCADA and operator interface applications
- Design databases and write custom programs for PLCSCADA system integration
- Apply standard troubleshooting procedures to diagnose mechanical & electrical components
- Create project manuals & electrical schematics using AutoCAD
- Develop scope of work cost estimates and budgets for electrical systems
- Gain expertise in SCR systems including fluid systems operations metallurgy maintenance material handling furnace systems and machine operations
- Assist in onsite commissioning of SCR system components
- Transfer technical expertise to customers through training presentations and startup assistance
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field required
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in chemical or manufacturing industries working with industrial processing equipment instrumentation & control AC/DC drives PLCs combustion systems design maintenance or operations
- Handson Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC & drive experience
- SCADA system & HMI application experience
- AutoCAD proficiency for CAD schematics
- Computer programming networking database & reporting expertise
- Ability to develop deep technical knowledge as a subject matter expert
- International travel required (35%)
