Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics.
- Assemble and disassemble engine components as needed for repairs.
- Conduct tire service including alignment and replacement.
- Inspect air brake systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Requirements
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to diesel mechanics.
- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and schematics.
- Experience with assembling and disassembling various engine components.
- Knowledge of tire service procedures including alignment techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and repair practices.
- Ability to diagnose issues related to air brake systems effectively.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
