Join a dynamic and fastpaced retail brand that is growing rapidly across Malaysia. We re looking for a detailoriented and designsavvy Assistant Project Manager to support the planning and execution of interior design and fitout projects across retail outlets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in crossfunctional environments enjoys managing multiple projects and brings creative flair along with strong project control.
You ll work closely with internal teams consultants suppliers and contractors to deliver functional onbrand retail environments that reflect quality efficiency and customer appeal.
Assist in the planning coordination and execution of interior design and fitout projects from concept through to completion.
Apply knowledge of space planning materials furniture fixtures and finishes to ensure design quality and brand consistency.
Coordinate and liaise with internal departments landlords consultants and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee onsite activities including contractor management material deliveries and progress tracking.
Support cost estimation and budgeting processes to align with company financial objectives identifying discrepancies and suggesting improvements.
Monitor project timelines budgets and resource allocation; flag issues and propose solutions as they arise.
Prepare and maintain project documentation including progress reports cost tracking and procurement orders.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
Stay adaptable to handle multiple concurrent projects ensuring ontime delivery and quality standards.
Bachelor s Degree in Interior Design Architecture Project Management Business Engineering or a related field.
4 6 years of relevant experience ideally within retail interior design or project management sectors.
Solid understanding of interior design principles including spatial planning material selection and furniture/fixture integration.
Strong project coordination skills with a keen eye for detail and a drive for meeting deadlines and managing budgets.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fastmoving environment.
Familiarity with general office procedures including purchase order processing and vendor management.
Experience in retail or lifestyle brands is an advantage but not essential.
Full Time
