Financial Analyst 1Year Contract (Penang Malaysia)
Start Date: 1st July 2025 (or earlier)
Are you an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail Do you thrive in fastpaced environments where your insights can directly shape business decisions We re representing a global organisation seeking a Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 12month contract based in Penang Malaysia.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both fresh graduates and earlycareer professionals to gain handson experience in financial planning reporting and analysis at a leading international company.
What You ll Be Doing
- Assist with monthend and quarterend financial closing processes
- Consolidate and analyse financial data across business divisions
- Prepare forecasts variance reports and executivelevel presentations
- Collaborate with finance teams to deliver actionable insights
- Maintain and enhance financial models and dashboards
- Conduct market analysis on IPOs and M&A activity
- Analyse earnings call transcripts to identify key themes and strategies
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decisionmaking
Requirements
What We re Looking For
- A degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field
- Strong Excel skills and a solid understanding of financial modelling
- Bonus points for experience with Oracle Hyperion Power BI or automation tools like Power Automate
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive independent approach
