Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Senior Dive System Technician Electrical
As a Dive System Technician specializing in electrical systems Candidate should be responsible for the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of electrical components and systems within dive equipment. Working primarily with underwater life support systems will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of diving apparatus. This position involves a combination of technical expertise attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Requirements
- Be able to run up the system
- Fault find any problems during diving operations
- Maintenance and repair of any mechanical parts of the reclaim system
- Maintenance of the Gas booster compressors including strip down and be able to fully rebuild and set up as per manual
- Maintain reclaim parts and have a good understanding of the equipment inside the SDC
- Be able to set up the reclaim inside the SDC and be able to fault find any issues.
- Be able to service and repair any valves on the reclaim compressor.
Gas Transfer compressors Compare
- Fault find any problems during diving operations
- Maintenance of the compressors including strip down and be able to fully rebuild and set up as per manual
- Be able to service and repair any valves on the compressor
- Full knowledge of the filtration system
- Be able to conduct gas purity testing
Pipework
- Be able to make new pipework and install
- Knowledge on how to clean pipework (O2 Clean)
- Be able to pressure test any pipework and hoses
- Have good understanding on procedures of making new hoses up (Gas and Fluid)
Valves and Regulators Maintenance various Cleaning Maintenance service repair and setting
- Tescom Regulators
- Back Pressure regulators
- Ball Valves
- Needle valves
- Pressure Relief Valves
- Check Valves
- Pilot regulators
Diving Helmets Band Masks and Bibs
- Be able to Fault find and repair any issues
- Full service on all the above with correct training certification (JFD)
- Capable of keeping maintenance records on all the above
- Knowledge of how to clean all the above correctly (O2 Clean)
Pumps
- Full understanding of Haskels High pressure pumps
- Able to strip service rebuild and set up of Haskel pumps
- Water Pumps ( Air Driven )
Launch And Recovery
- Capable of launch and recovery of the diving system
- Good knowledge of the emergency recovery procedures
- Be capable of carrying out Load testing
- Maintain all parts of the system including winches sheeves and Load limiters (And setting up)
- Able to pressure test Main umbilicals and repair any Hose ends (Cortland Fibron)
- Capable of launching SPHLs and good knowledge of procedures
Refrigeration
- Good Knowledge of refrigeration and how the system works
- Capable of servicing and maintenance of the system
- Able to recover Freon Gas safely
- Able to add gas to the system correctly
IMCA
- Fully compliant with IMCA D023 D024 D018 and IMCA D063
Pressure Vessels and Gas Cylinders
- Maintain and inspection
- Knowledge of cleanliness (O2 Clean)
- Pressure testing
General
- Compliant with Amos or other maintenance programs
- Be able to carry out FMEA Trials
- Be able to assist with IMCA Audits
- Be able to assist with DNV surveys.
- Good knowledge of Diving system with at the min 300 actual Diving days as a Tech (To be shown In Technicians Log Book)
