You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOn behalf of a Tier1 EPC power contractor we are recruiting an Electrical Engineer to deliver 12 kV 230 kV distribution and substation projects across Metro Vancouver and the BC Interior. You ll take projects from singleline concept through energization coordinating civil protectionandcontrol and utilityinterconnect scopes for transit datacentre and renewabletiein clients.
Develop singleline diagrams load and faultlevel studies arcflash & coordination studies (ETAP / SKM).
Produce 3D substation and ductbank layouts in Revit / AutoCAD Electrical; specify switchgear breakers relays CTs/VTs to CSA & BC Hydro standards.
Lead grounding & lightningprotection design cablesizing and thermalrating calculations.
Prepare IFC drawing packages equipment RFQs and constructionphase RFI responses.
Liaise with BC Hydro & FortisBC for interconnection studies protection settings and outage planning.
Conduct FAT SAT and energization support; sign off field redline markups for asbuilt.
Mentor EITs; support project managers on schedule risk and client presentations.

6 years MV/HV distribution substation or industrial powersystems design.
Working knowledge of IEEE Std 80 CSA C22.3 and BC Hydro distribution standards.
Proficient in ETAP / SKM AutoCAD Electrical or Revit MEP; relaycoordination experience (SEL / GE Multilin) an asset.
Valid driver s licence; occasional travel to interior & coastal project sites.
Base salary CAD 125 k 145 k annual performance bonus.
Flexible hybrid work model (3 days office 2 days WFH).
