You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur client an awardwinning municipal infrastructure consultancy needs a Water Resources Engineer to take the technical lead on stormwater sanitary and potablewater network projects across Southern Alberta. From watershed masterplanning to detailed hydraulic modeling and pipenetwork design you ll guide multidisciplinary teams delivering floodresilience and growthservicing programs for municipal and landdevelopment clients.
Develop watershed and stormwater management plans detentionpond sizing LID / BMP solutions and riverine floodprotection concepts.
Build and calibrate PCSWMM / InfoWorks ICM / EPANET hydraulic models; run climatechange and designstorm scenarios.
Prepare potablewater distribution models (WaterGEMS) and fireflow analyses; size mains PRVs reservoirs and pump stations to AEP & AWWA/CSA standards.
Produce IFC drawings and specs in Civil 3D; coordinate with transportation geotech and structural teams.
Lead regulatory approvals: AEP Water Act City of Calgary UDO and Alberta Environment Code of Practice.
Provide construction support shopdrawing review site inspections asbuilt verification and mentor EITs.
Present technical findings to municipal councils utility boards and publicopenhouse sessions.

5 years stormwater sanitary and potablesystem design in Canada.
Proficiency in PCSWMM / ICM / EPANET / WaterGEMS and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Knowledge of Alberta Environment design guidelines City of Calgary DCM and CSA B128/B129 standards.
Excellent written & clientpresentation skills; class 5 licence for regional travel.
