You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMercer is seeking a dynamic and forwardthinking Workday Project Manager to lead medium to complex projects in a fastpaced global multinational organization. This role is pivotal in driving HR Digital Transformation initiatives leveraging cuttingedge technologies and delivering impactful solutions.
Workday Project Manager
We will count on you to:
Lead one or multiple projects with Mercer clients across diverse business units focusing on HR Digital Transformation initiatives such as Workday implementations automation of HR processes and adoption of AIdriven HR analytics.
Communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels including presenting to Csuite executives during Executive Steering Committees using virtual collaboration platforms and data storytelling techniques.
Develop and oversee project plans with clear milestones and deadlines cocreated with business users and aligned with digital transformation goals.
Track and manage project costs using cloudbased financial tools ensuring accuracy and transparency in all Mercerrelated documentation.
Assign responsibilities monitor team progress and drive ontime onbudget delivery of HR technology solutions leveraging agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle using datadriven tools to anticipate and address challenges.
Enhance program and project management capabilities within your portfolio integrating digital HR solutions to maximize business value and ROI.
Maintain high visibility on initiatives through engaging techenabled communicationthink interactive dashboards virtual town halls and stakeholder updates.
Ensure comprehensive scope documentation at project kickoff continuously refining it as the project evolves and managing scope changes with precision.
Confirm compliance with internal policies and external regulations including data privacy and security standards critical to HR systems.
Spot opportunities to introduce Mercers broader service offeringslike HR analytics talent mobility platforms or digital employee wellness solutionsto clients.
What you need to have:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems HR Technology Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of project management or consulting experience ideally in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or HR Digital Transformation projects.
Proven selfstarter with the ability to work independently lead teams and inspire collaboration in hybrid or remote work environments.
Exceptional communication skills adept at virtual presentations stakeholder engagement and translating technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.
Strong analytical mindset with advanced problemsolving skills including experience with HR data analytics and digital process optimization.
What makes you stand out
Handson experience with Workday (e.g. HCM Recruiting Payroll or Analytics modules) and familiarity with HR tech trends like AI RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or cloudbased integrations. Workday Certification Preferred.
Deep knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall SAFe).
Proven proficiency with modern tools like Office365 Microsoft Project Power BI Tableau Jira Smartsheets and/or Asana.
