Job Description

The Visa Global Small Business team is responsible for overseeing and driving Visas global small business agenda and thought leadership. The team is organized across two distinct functions: (1) Performance Management & Market Intelligence and (2) Sales &gotomarket. The team is meant to work crossfunctionally and be multidisciplinary in skillet.

The Performance Management and Market Intelligence function is responsible for (1) providing visibility on our performance across sales and drivers delivering insights on emerging opportunities/threads to the business (2) bringing market intelligence on key trends shaping the present and future of the business and providing researchbased recommendations based on competitive intelligence and regional needs (3) finding and executing strategic initiatives to improve overall performance (e.g. implement process improvements finding new business opportunities in our existing portfolio supporting the development of our 2030 strategy) and (4) supporting overall business planning and operations.

The current role of Performance Intelligence Manager will be the A in building maintaining and enhancing our reporting and analytics capabilities across sales and drivers playing an essential foundational role in creating consistent and actionable performance insights.

 

Essential Functions

  • You will design build and maintain a reporting infrastructure on key performance metrics across disparate data sources including but not limited to payment volumes valueadded services product penetration and pipeline build to roll this into a singular aggregated report on Visas performance month over month quarter over quarter and year over year.

  • You will compare performance against internal and external benchmarks with a shrewd eye toward identifying performance and/or profitability improvement opportunity

  • You will collaborate with crossfunctional and regional teams to gather and validate data ensuring global accuracy and consistency in reporting. You should proactively identify and execute initiatives to improve data quality and efficiencies in data collecting processing and reporting.

  • You will be responsible for building a strong network with global & regional finance and VCA teams to determine the best mechanism for capturing and maintaining key factors that influence drivers and sales performance.

  • You will contribute to delivering performance reports on a regular cadence for internal consumption and any ad hoc/ ondemand reporting needed to support executive teams.

  • You will seek opportunities to automate reporting with constant feedback loops from your internal clients and find fitforpurpose solutions to boost adoption and usage (e.g. Tableau PowerBI etc)

  • You will support the team in developing business insights for highpriority initiatives (e.g. competitive intelligence sizing opportunities and evaluating impact for strategic initiatives).

  • You will stay uptodate with the latest data science and analytics technologies and identify opportunities to leverage them within the organization.

  • You will work closely with crossfunctional and crossregional VCS teams.

The position will work closely with and lead key relationships requiring highly effective collaboration and influencing and driving results in a matrix environment and across Visas global organization.

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Experience with reporting and generating insights and dashboards using tools such as Tableau Kibana or Power BI
Experience in analyzing large datasets using programming languages such as Python R SQL and/or Spark is a nice to have
Get to an understanding of root problems define analytical objectives and formalize data requirements for various types of analyses
Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry is not required but a plus
Selfstarter who can drive a project forward independently. You are willing to roll up your sleeves take ownership and are focused on delivering results
Natural collaborator team oriented diplomatic and flexible with demonstrated capacity to function in a matrixed organization that spans multiple geographies.
Strong attention to detail highly organized and adept at multitasking.
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Strong analytical teamwork leadership and critical thinking skills
Relevant work experience in management consulting strategy finance or operations
Ability to influence successfully in a matrixed and virtual organization


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 138500.00 to 200700.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
