Job Description
Hematologist at the University of Florida. The University of Florida Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a fulltime Classical Hematologist for a clinical track position in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant Professor rank or higher. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) Hematologist. Applicants must be eligible for a Florida Medical License. The successful candidate will provide inpatient hematology consultations with a focus on nonmalignant hematology participate in the education of medical trainees (medical students residents hematologyoncology fellows) and engage in quality and safety initiatives. The position can be individualized and opportunities for leadership and research are encouraged.
The UF Division of Hematology and Oncology faculty are closely engaged and partners with the University of Florida Health Cancer Center (UFHCC) the only NCIdesignated Cancer Center in North Central Florida. The center is also the only NCIDesignated Cancer Center based at a public university in Florida. The UFHCC blends comprehensive patient care and innovative research in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment with members from 11 of the 16 colleges at the University of Florida (UF).
