Description

As a Regional Manager for the NYS/NE regions of the Virtual Enterprises International (VEI) program you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the organizations mission of providing students with realworld business experiences. You will work closely with the Managing Director of Programs to oversee and manage the operations of VEI programs. Your primary focus will be on supporting program quality and building relationships with participating schools teachers and partners and supporting program growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Work with the Program Implementation team in implementing program curriculum across schools within the NYS & NE region.
    • Monitor program activities and ensure adherence to program guidelines and policies.
    • Organize and coordinate the yearly regional calendar in collaboration with the National VE Office to be provided to school partners
    • Provide ongoing online technical support for schools and facilitators
    • Collaborate with teachers and supervisors to provide guidance and support in program implementation.
    • Evaluate program implementation identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Training and Professional Development:
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers and program coordinators to enhance their understanding of VEIs curriculum and program implementation strategies.
    • Collaborate with the Curriculum & Professional Learning to develop and update training materials and resources.
  • Event Planning and Coordination:
    • Coordinate the planning scheduling and execution of regional student events.
    • Coordinate logistics venue selection participant registrationand event promotion.
    • Provide onsite support during events ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for participants.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Support the marketing and communications team in promoting the regions activities/successes.
    • Collaborate with the Educational Partnership team to secure new business partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local businesses industry professionals college partners and community organizations.
    • Support in the recruitment and management of volunteers and mentors



Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in business education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in program/event management education or youth development.
  • Knowledge of business operations entrepreneurship and projectbased learning methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and flexible with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Well organized selfstarter with a keen attention to detail and able to work under pressure to meet frequent and changing deadlines.
  • Excellent computer and research skills (including but not limited to Word Excel Powerpoint Google Docs Canva Jotform.
  • Strong written and oral articulation skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting with experience using relevant tools and software.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within the Long Island region as required.
  • Passion for youth empowerment and a commitment to promoting entrepreneurship education.
  • Valid drivers license and safe driving record preferred
