We are seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to join our analytics team and help deliver business insights through scalable wellstructured and visually compelling dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will be a selfstarter with strong technical expertise in Tableau excellent data modeling skills and the proven ability to work independently while effectively communicating in English with stakeholders across different geographies..
Key Responsibilities
Independently design develop and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform data analysis modeling and preparation to support visualizations.
Optimize existing Tableau dashboards for performance scalability and user experience.
Ensure data accuracy consistency and quality across all reporting layers.
Work closely with data engineers and backend developers to integrate data sources.
Provide guidance and best practices in Tableau development and visualization standards.
Support business teams by delivering ad hoc reports and data insights as needed.
Qualifications :
5 years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence with at least 3 years focused on Tableau including experience working independently on complex projects..
Strong experience in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas joins etc.).
Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable visualizations and drive the dashboard development process from requirements to deployment.
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance in Tableau.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) to interact with international teams.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and the ability to manage their own tasks and timelines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift Google BigQuery Snowflake).
Familiarity with Tableau Server/Online administration including publishing permissions and scheduling in a potentially remote setup.
Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g. Power BI Looker) is a plus.
Background in data analytics business analysis or data engineering ideally with some exposure to payments data or financial systems.
Additional Information :
Location: Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico (working from home within Mexico office wont be mandatory all the time rather it will required from time to time).
