Job Description
Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join one of our longterm clients team at (1) of their properties in Aurora CO. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in handson maintenance strong organizational skills and someone that will lead by example. EPA 608 and CPO are highly preferred but not required. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).
Salary: $20$24/hour DOQ. (90 days before conversion).
Schedule: Weekly schedule: MF 8am5pm.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Completes resident service request in a timely manner.
- Has knowledge of various maintenance functions including and not limited to plumbing air conditioning heating general carpentry skills appliance electrical painting caulking snow removal scheduling and life safety issues.
- Maintains grounds pools/ hot tubs common areas and dog parks to keep them clean free of trash debris and other safety issues.
- Performs oncall emergency procedures as required.
- Reports any maintenance issues that affect the budget such as life safety vacant repairs property damages and common area needs to the manager.
- Schedules and perform preventative maintenance and records such activities.
- Is knowledgeable of state local and federal housing laws codes policies and systems regarding maintenance.
- Provide superior customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience within residential properties unit turns work orders preventative maintenance required.
- EPA and CPO are required.
- Handson working knowledge of typical apartment maintenance tasks is required.
- Associates must have valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
- Be able to pass a Background Check before employment.
