Title: PartTime: Document Scanning Clerk

Job Summary

The Document Scanning Clerk is a parttime temporary position and responsible for collecting reviewing scanning and organizing documents (ex: employee files training records benefits information transcripts student records etc.) This position will involve converting a highvolume of paper files to electronic files in cloud storage.

Job Duties

  • Create a workflow to manage this highvolume conversion project using an indepth understanding of proper document retrieval handling and destruction of documents that contain personal and protected information.
  • Order files from offsite storage and other locations in preparation for scanning. Receive and process incoming files from internal teams
  • Organize and scan files for electronic storage; Ensure each file is readable and scanned completely.
  • Ensure files are properly classified named and saved in corresponding drives.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Keep a record of documents retrieved scanned saved and destroyed.
  • Provide administrative assistance when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
