WHO WE ARE

Since 1993 The Pathfinder Network (TPN) has been providing justicesystem impacted individuals and their families the tools and support they need to be safe and thrive in our communities. We serve individuals experiencing incarceration those reentering the community those on forms of community supervision their families and their children within 9 of Oregons 11 corrections facilities and in the community in Multnomah Jackson Marion and Clackamas Counties. We develop and deliver a comprehensive scope of evidencebased trauma gender and culturallyresponsive cognitive behavioralbased programs including our proprietary evidencebased curriculum Parenting Inside Out which is the highestrated parenting skills curriculum for parents involved with the criminal justice system. Our community programs feature holistic wraparound individual and group support and services. We serve an average of 3000 people a year agencywide.

WHAT YOU WILL BE COUNTED ON TO DO

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Controller to support a leave of absence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management accounting principles and the ability to oversee critical financial operations reporting and compliance. This temporary role is essential in ensuring the continued accuracy of financial systems timely reporting and support for key financial functions across the organization during this period. As the Temporary Controller you will play an integral role in ensuring The Pathfinder Network (TPN) programs are fully supported to deliver highquality prevention and intervention services to adults and children in justiceinvolved families. You will provide management and oversight to all aspects of organizational finance ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. You will oversee accounting functions to ensure GAAP compliance proper internal controls and the timely and accurate production of financial statements.


This is a temporary position beginning July 2025 with an anticipated end date in March 2026.

Working Conditions/Travel Requirements


The Pathfinder Network follows public health guidance for any public health emergencies and will remain in compliance with any vaccination or isolation requirements from partner agencies.


This job is primarily remote based in Portland. Inperson attendance may be required as needed at meetings or events. This is largely a sedentary role and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and cell phones.


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.


This is a parttime nonexempt position working 2428 hours per week depending on the time of month. Typical days of work are Monday through Friday; however evening and weekend work may be required as needed.

Compensation and Benefits: This is a nonexempt parttime temporary position. The hiring range for this position is approximately $55.00 $65.00 per hour. Pay offers are determined in conjunction with an internal pay equity assessment.
