POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Discovery Specialist to join our legal team. This role is critical in supporting discovery efforts for litigation matters managing document production workflows and ensuring timely and accurate responses to discovery requests including interrogatories requests for production and requests for admission. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal legal professionals and outside counsel to facilitate efficient defensible and costeffective resolution of litigated matters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the endtoend electronic discovery (ediscovery) lifecycle including identification preservation collection processing review and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with responding to subpoenas and discovery requests including interrogatories document requests and requests for admission.
- Coordinate with IT and other internal departments to ensure proper data collection and legal hold compliance.
- Utilize ediscovery platforms to perform data searches tagging redactions and document productions.
- Support internal and external counsel by organizing case files creating production logs and maintaining detailed audit trails.
- Serve as a liaison with outside counsel to ensure effective communication coordination of discovery efforts and adherence to litigation timelines.
- Participate in legal strategy discussions to recommend best practices for discovery management and risk mitigation.
- Maintain awareness of evolving ediscovery laws best practices and technology tools.
- Provide training or support to internal stakeholders regarding document retention and discovery processes as needed.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience a plus.
- 3 years of experience in discovery litigation support or a similar legal operations role.
- Experience working with outside counsel and crossfunctional internal teams.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and information governance practices.
- Certification(s) in ediscovery (e.g. ACEDS) is a strong plus.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITY:
- Proficiency with ediscovery tools and document review platforms.
- Strong understanding of the FRCP (Federal Rules of Civil Procedure) as they relate to discovery.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment.
- Familiarity with legal hold software and document management systems is preferred.
