Responsibilities
Peraton has an exciting and important opportunity for an experienced Cloud Database Architect to support a critical agency within the Federal Government working within the Office of Information Technology (OCIO). The right candidate has extensive experience in Computer Science Information Technology and/or Engineering. You are a strong collaborator who is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our nation. You will be Key Personnel leading support for a suite of government developed information systems designed to tackle the agencys mission.
This position will be located in the Washington DC/MD/VA area.
Responsibilities:
- Design and management of the agencys data infrastructure.
- Leading the development of robust database designs to facilitate efficient data storage retrieval and analysis including compatibility and interoperability among various data sources and systems used across the agency.
- Collaborating closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to help shape the agencys data architecture to effectively support the agencys mission.
**Position contingent on contract award**
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years of experience with MS/MA
- 8 years of experience in Computer Science Information Technology or Engineering.
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional Certification required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting contract related work.
- Experience interfacing and being responsive to customers preferably in a federal government environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical staff.
