Its an exciting time to be on Amazons Video Shopping (ASV) team. Now more than ever customers watch videos when they shop. Videos and livestreams make shopping easier and more fun whether a customer is researching a product or tuning in to chat with their favorite content creator live. The Amazon Shopping Video (ASV) teams mission is to enable customers to find inspiration information entertainment and community through videos at any point in their shopping journey. We are passionate about building testing and releasing scalable welldesigned software. We constantly improve our technical foundation and customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
We are looking for Software Development Engineer to build a high performing organization. We are looking for highly motivated qualitycentric engineers with deep endtoend mobile and web application knowledge to design develop and research technologies that impact millions of end users. Successful candidate must have a strong drive for results excellent eye for user experience good interpersonal skills and be a team player who has the ability to work independently in a fastpaced startup like environment.
You will be working with crossfunctional teams across the company to develop best in class Second Screen Companion Experiences.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
