Job Description
The job profile for this position isSoftware Engineering Senior Advisorwhich is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role withCignaEvernorth Services Inc.
Responsiblities
Partner with multiple vendors to create estimates and delivery plans for projects or programs across an application family;
Provide technology leadership and delivery accountability for solutions for multiple concurrent projects within an application family (i.e. Claims C&PS or CS & DW);
Ensure quality of technology delivery of multiple vendors technology solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs for an application family;
Work at the highest technical level of all phases of application programming activities;
Provide technical expertise regarding writing and modifying of complex software application programs;
Lead work groups that are responsible for software development design and quality testing;
Create detailed specifications or designs conduct quality assurance reviews of peers application programming and act as a mentor to others in these programs;
Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities associated with supporting the application area;
Serve as subject matter expert for components of the team;
Partner with architects to set direction for maturing use of/retiring/adding technology components in the ESI environment;
Provide technical guidance to projects/programs for complex components of a multiple technology suites;
Lead efforts to develop standard practices components guidelines for use of complex technology components; and
Take actions to determine root cause of problems and drive resolution.

Qualifications
Masters or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering and three years of experience in a related occupation;
OR in the alternative a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering and five years of experience in a related occupation;
Experience designing and developing frontend web services for mobile applications;
Experience monitoring health of frontend services in production;
Experience conducting code review bug fixes and coordinating with quality analysis teams;
Experience providing production/release support;
Experience automating build/deployment process; and
Experience using: ReactJS Redux Spring Boot Boot Strap CSS AJAX RESTful web services Java and Agile Methodology.
