Boeing Defense Space and Security is seeking anEntryLevel Procurement Agent (Level 1) to join the Maritime & Intelligence Systems team in Herndon VA!

This position will assist with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Supports the sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and contract for products services and technologies
• Engage stakeholders to ensure that program customer product and inservice strategies are integrated into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements with Boeing suppliers
• Mitigate risks and issues and initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies
• Review data from multiple business systems
• Conduct source selections negotiates and documents purchase contracts and agreements within procurement commitment authority
• Gathers performance data to monitor supplier capability capacity and business health
• Monitors supplier performance to contract
• Support supplier performance reviews
• Transmit technical data and business communications
• Learn import and export policies and procedures
• Process proprietary information agreements to ensure data protection

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
• Experience in performing data analysis
• Experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines
• Experience working both independently and in team environments

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Bachelors Degree or higher
• Experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
• Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• Excellent written/ verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service
