Job Description

Job Summary:

Work with claims staff to maximize counsel and vendor efficiency in claims litigation.

Job Duties:

Review analyze and audit law firm invoices submitted by defense counsel

and others for compliance with Allied World Billing and Litigation Guidelines.

Partner with claims analysts and other staff to conduct special projects including large scale audits within a claim firm wide audits and comparative taskbased audits across panel firms.

Identify firm billing trends through review of invoices and analysis of data and draft memos for upperlevel management as appropriate.

Meet or exceed productivity requirements as outlined by the Unit Supervisor.

Perform any and all duties as assigned and related to the goals of the Department and Company.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of two years experience in handling p&c insurance claims legal invoice review and/or practicing insurance defense law. A college degree is required and a JD with experience in private practice is preferred.

Strong analytical writing and communication and problem resolving skills.

Selfstarter with strong organizational skills.

Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Excel.

Ability to see big picture while maintaining attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Special Responsibilities:

Work requires the ability to read comprehend and analyze written materials quickly and to use a computer for long periods of time.
