Job Description
Title: ESY Paraprofessional (Elementary @ the Complex) (Internal Only) (Summer 2025)
*Number of positions is TBD (estimated 5)
General Duties:
The paraprofessionals responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assists supports and works closely with teachers administrators and other team members in providing educational support for Special Education classrooms.
- Works with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials or skills initially introduced and outlined by licensed staff.
- Assists the teacher in special strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students their needs interests and abilities.
- Monitors work supervises curriculumbased testing and makeup work as assigned by the staff.
- Assists in classroom and instructional duties as assigned by the teacher.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a current paraprofessional in the grades listed above.
Compensation: $1760 Stipend
Dates/Time: Summer school work and planning includes but is not limited to the summer school schedule which is:
Summer School will run from June 30thJuly 24th. Work days will be 8:00AM12:00PM
- Week 1 Monday June 30th Thursday July 3rd (4 Day week)
- Week 2 Monday July 7th Thursday July 10th (4 Day week)
- Week 3 Monday July 14th Thursday July 17th (4 Day Week)
- Week 4 Monday July 21st Thursday July 24th (4 Day Week)
