Emerging Technologies Professional (Expertise in Cloud Computing and Machine Learning)

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Emerging Technologies Professional to join our innovative team. This role is critical in staying abreast of emerging technologies and evaluating their potential to support and enhance our organizational goals. The Sr. Specialist will lead efforts in researching testing and implementing new technologies ensuring they integrate seamlessly into existing systems and processes thereby contributing significantly to Synechrons strategic objectives.

Software Requirements

• Required Proficiency:

  • Experience with technology evaluation methodologies and tools
  • Understanding of technology implementation best practices including integration testing and deployment
  • Knowledge of technology security and data privacy practices

• Preferred Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with cloud computing machine learning and blockchain technologies
  • Experience with technology project management tools

Overall Responsibilities

• Stay current with and evaluate new and emerging technologies.
• Research test and implement new technologies to improve systems and processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless and effective integration of new technologies.
• Provide training and support to team members on new technologies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technology documentation and guides.
• Monitor the performance and adoption of new technologies to ensure their effectiveness.

Technical Skills (By Category)

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Preferred: Proficiency in major cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud)

• Programming Languages:

  • Preferred: Familiarity with languages used in emerging technologies (e.g. Python for machine learning)

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

  • Required: Experience with technology evaluation methodologies
  • Preferred: Agile development methodologies

• Security Protocols:

  • Required: Knowledge of technology security and data privacy practices

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology evaluation and implementation.
• Proven experience in managing technology projects and initiatives.
• Experience in working within a fastpaced dynamic environment.

• Conduct research and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand technology needs and provide solutions.
• Develop and implement technology roadmaps to align with business strategies.
• Manage multiple technology projects and priorities.
• Prepare and present technology evaluations and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
