Job Description
Pepsi Bottling Venturesis seeking aVP Field Operations to join our team in Raleigh NC.

We are jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo. Suntory is a familyowned business founded in Japan more than 125 years ago that is known globally for their beverages and innovative spirit. PepsiCo has a 125year plus legacy as a global leader in convenient foods and beverages. We represent Suntorys nonalcoholic beverage industry in the United States and have an 80year plus legacy of providing PepsiCo products to the Carolinas and beyond.
What We Do
We make sell and distribute PepsiCo and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make sell and distribute directly to stores in our territory the worldrenowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages. These exclusive rights make up the vast majority of our business and cover certain counties across five states.
We also create our own beverages producing and distributing them to our customers warehouses nationally. And we make sell and distribute to our customers warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small but growing part of our business.

VP Field Operations Role Overview
Transform lead and manage the Distribution & Logistics (Warehouse to Shelf) organizations to deliver industryleading service and costto serve metrics. This will include creating the strategy and ensuring the execution and achievement of the plan/transformation.
Key Priorities
Develop and Operationalize all Selling and Delivery strategies and implementation of plans (Annual Operating and Compensation Planning).
Develop and implement strategic route to market initiatives.
Work Lead & Develop collaboratively with BT and IT. Ensure technologies are developed & implemented achieving route to market objectives.
Interface with key vendors customers PBC PBNA PepsiCo other key to research and understand potential opportunities.
Develop Lead & Manage Fleet Function & Longterm strategy asset management (type quantity strategy) as well as People Management.
Lead all company Dispatch strategy.
Lead/Develop all FullService Vending RTM Strategy.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or 10 years experience with CPG/DSD
Experience with managing and leading distribution and logistics teams with P&L accountabilities.
Understanding of the various technologies required to support strategies
Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to execute against strategic initiatives
Strong public speaking/presentation skills required
Must be able to effectively communicate with both external and internal customers.
Excellent prioritizing and decisionmaking skills are required.
Strong organizational and planning skills are required.
Must be able to effectively manage up within the organization
Must be able to build strong cross functional relationships
Ability to execute multiple projects in parallel while ensuring daily operations are delivering results.
Strong analytical skills
Ability to mentor and develop bench strength for succession planning
Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time (mainly day travel)
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary pay for this position is set based on location confirmed jobrelated skills experience and education. Your recruiter will share more about the specific pay range for this position during the interview process.
