Job Description

Senior Quality Systems Specialist (Program Management)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for Senior Quality Systems Specialists (Level 4) based out of Everett Washington supporting the 767 or 777 Airplane Programs.

The successful candidate will support either the 767 or 777 Program. Must be able to synthesize and analyze data to provide recommendations and actions. Strong written and verbal communications are key. Will be required to communicate verbally at an executive level. Represent Supplier Quality (SQ) at Tier meetings and other program reviews. Integrate closely with Program Quality manufacturing SQ representatives and Supply Chain to drive timely identification and resolution of problems. Support closed loop communication with the program on issues and actions. Must have a how can I help attitude.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads stakeholders in analysis of process data metrics models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
  • Conducts research compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability.
  • Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for complex nonconforming materials parts and equipment.
  • Leads multifunction multisite groups to develop company directives policies processes procedures and metrics to assure program contract customer regulatory requirements international standards and working agreements are deployed.
  • Leads Quality reviews of proposals regulatory program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
  • Assists in the development of new standard repairs for nonconforming materials parts and equipment.
  • Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
  • 3 years of experience with the Boeing Production System
  • 3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Experience in collecting data from multiple sources performing analysis and presenting data
  • Experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specification
  • Experience with AS9001: International Aerospace QMS Standards
  • Experience with the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and/or Systematic Problem Solving
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis using Tableau
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
