Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS: of 46 years of experience as a heavyduty mechanic preferably with school bus or commercial commercial drivers license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements or willingness to knowledge of diesel engines brake systems electrical diagnostics and air conditioning to lift heavy equipmentMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: to the Transportation routine maintenance like oil changes brake inspections and tire and repair mechanical electrical and safetyrelated with breakdowns and emergency repairs as service records and compliance with all DOT state and federal a school bus run as to work during or after storms to ensure the fleet is ready. disposal of oils fluids and chemicals to avoid fire and health daily & weekly cleaning routines in the shop to help meet OSHA EPA and local health & safety be on call for emergency duties as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator and Administration SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS12month positionSalary Range $60000 $75000 depending on experience and licenses
