Job Description
Join a Global Leader in Print Technology!
Heidelberg is seeking a detailoriented and proactive Indirect Procurement Buyer to support our North American operations (U.S. Canada and Mexico). In this role youll be the goto expert for our procurement systems helping internal teams and vendors navigate the purchasing process efficiently and effectively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Requisition Support
- Review purchase requests and assist team members with creating and submitting accurate entries
- Provide support in both English and Spanish
- Train users and guide them through procurement tools and best practices
Order Processing & Vendor Coordination
- Manage purchase orders in SAP including creation editing and issue resolution
- Confirm orders with vendors and maintain accurate order data
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth transactions
Procurement Assistance & User Support
- Help internal teams understand the purchasing process and direct them to the right resources
- Obtain quotes for simple purchases and manage uniform and safety equipment programs
- Support vendor onboarding and updates
Operational & System Support
- Run and analyze reports troubleshoot access requests and support fleet/travel functions
- Recommend process improvements
Compliance & Ethics
- Uphold Heidelbergs global procurement policies and maintain confidentiality in all activities
What Were Looking For:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detailoriented with the ability to troubleshoot and problemsolve
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced collaborative environment
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry related to assigned product line.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of assigned product lines and related products.
- Good written skills for reporting and analysis.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have excellent sales presentation skills and proven sales techniques.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft tools to include Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
Location: Kennesaw GA
Pay Range: 60k to 70k
