THE ROLE:

SEMI is looking for an experienced parttime Coordinator to support the SEMIs Market Intelligence Team (MIT) that provides market reports and data across a range of microelectronics industries including fabless/IC Design semiconductor manufacturing capital equipment semiconductor materials packaging and adjacent electronic supply chains.

This position supports SEMIs Market Intelligence Team by maintaining and updating data files for related semiconductor market research using Excel and other tools. Key responsibilities include administering industry surveys ensuring accurate data submission supporting Market Intelligence product fulfillment updating content on web pages processing purchase requests providing editorial support for marketing materials and supporting promotion on social media platforms.

This is a 1 year temporary parttime under 30 hours per week nonexempt role which reports to our Research Manager Market Intelligence in our SEMI Milpitas Office

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

General Market Data:

• Maintains data files which include data and forecast for: conversion rates semiconductor revenue and equipment materials semiconductor capex by company M&A GDP etc. (MS Excel)
• Maintains silicon shipment file (MS Excel)
• Documents and maintains relevant industry information as supplied (MS Word)

Marketing and Administrative Support:

• Supports SEMI Market Data products fulfillment to customers/subscribers (NetSuite)
• Updates the content of the SEMI Market Data product pages including updates with highlights when new report and press releases are published (Drupal)
• Enters purchase requests for vendors and partners
• Provides editorial support by proof reading marketing copy and articles

Industry Data Collection Programs:

• Administers industry data collection surveys. Tracks and expedites the timeliness of data submission
• Engages with individual program participants to retain/recruit and obtain necessary information
• Maintains industry data collection programs participants lists
• Uploads documentation to company Intranet/SharePoint
• Responds to and/or routes inbound requests appropriately

Fab Products:

• Maintains the FabView subscribers list in the Webb User Application and email subscriber list
• Distributes welcome emails with user and pw to new FabView subscribers and send FabView notifications as required
• Supports special projects related to Fab database such as streamlining efforts

Social Media and Digital Promotion:

• Develops and publish regular posts on SEMIs LinkedIn X (formerly Twitter) and other relevant social media platforms to promote SEMIs Market Intelligence products and reports
• Coordinates with the marketing team to ensure messaging aligns with SEMIs brand and product strategy
• Monitors engagement and respond to comments or inquiries promptly and professionally
• Tracks social media metrics to optimize content and outreach
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to source content and highlight key insights product launches and industry trends

KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum AA degree in business or similar amount of education/experience
• 2 years of experience
• Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility accuracy and integrity
• Not afraid to ask questions
• Confident user of Excel experience with other relational databases is a plus
• Familiarity with Drupal or other web content management platforms
• Comfort with ERP systems such NetSuite (or be willing to learn)
• Knowledge of what a semiconductor fab is and basic knowledge about semiconductor manufacturing process and ecosystem is a plus
• Comfortable with research on the Internet of company websites (quarterly reports annual reports presentations) and contacting companies to verify information
• Other duties as required depending on business needs

The ideal candidate is a selfmotivated team member with extremely strong attention to details. You are organized have a sense of urgency and able to meet established deadlines. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills display a high degree of professionalism and strive for continuous improvement. A good understanding of the semiconductor industry and quantitative data processing skills is highly preferred.
