Summary of Duties:
As the Washington State University (WSU) Responsibility Opportunity Advocacy and Respect (ROAR) Employment Student Services Coordinator you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the employment services portion of the WSU ROAR Program. This includes but is not limited to overseeing and implementing various employmentrelated initiatives for WSU ROAR students providing individualized job carving job development and career advising managing student caseloads and their respective family interactions and establishing and maintaining partnerships and communication with employers to ensure student accommodations and support needs are met in the workplace.
You will also be responsible for designing and delivering individualized workshops to ROAR students aligning the Career Planning and Professional Development (CPPD) course to support career development supervising graduate assistants in the employment pillar and CPPD course managing student learning outcomes and assessments student portfolios and personcentered plans evaluating employment services and operational effectiveness leading initiatives for employment program development and continuous improvement teaching workshops and staff training daily supervision and coordination of employment coaches providing experiential opportunities for students; organizing events; planning and engaging in fundraising activities representing program to internal and external constituents maintaining program policies and procedures and regulations assisting director in program and student related tasks and related administrative functions.

This is a full time (100% FTE) Temporary position. This position is overtime eligible.
Temporary End Date: This is a temporary position expected to end on DATE 7/31/2026. Renewal is dependent on the need for extension and/or if additional funding is secured to extend employment.
Monthly Salary: $4061.90 $4569.63 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Experience working with young adults/students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities including autism spectrum disorder in an postsecondary education program and/or related setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to develop implement and evaluate effective plans programs policies and practices related to the education of students/young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills including excellent interpersonal communication written reports and correspondence and presentations for large and small audiences.
Experience designing and implementing assessment of learning outcomes for young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Experience addressing the needs of young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a postsecondary education program within an institution of higher education or at a high school.
Demonstrated ability to:
o interact effectively with diverse populations including senior administrators faculty staff students and the public;
o supervise and assist staff to develop and perform effectively;
o work independently as well as respond effectively to supervision;
o manage time details and deadlines effectively;and represent the Universitys best interests at all times.
Knowledge of research theories literature and trends in educational programs for students with disabilities and demonstrated ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
Plan conduct and implement evidencebased practices for students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
