The Program Administrator reports to the Director of the ACESJU Fellowship Program/Vice President of Mission and Ministry. The Program Administrator of the ACESJU Fellowship Program is responsible for assisting the Director of the ACESJU Fellowship Program in administration and execution of all nonacademic as well as all of the formation and ministry aspects of the fellowship program. This also includes management of the recruitment admission and enrollment of fellows to the program. Running programs for undergraduates who may be likely candidates to the ACESJU program especially Campus Ministry based service programs. Working with ACESJU fellows on accomplishing the community life and residency requirements is an essential aspect of this position. Additionally supporting fellows in their professional and personal goals setting while in the program is included as a primary area of activity. The Program Administrator of the ACESJU Fellowship Program will also work as a staff partner with the SJU Department of Campus Ministry in creating opportunity for service service reflection spiritual development and pathways to undergraduate and continued postgraduate service commitments.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist ACESJU Director and the administrative team with extracurricular /nonacademic program development and management.
Manage the ACESJU partnership with Campus Ministry and other SJU departments including close management fl programs that may present a pathway to the ACESJU Fellowship Program.
Facilitate communication with ACESJU fellows for ongoing support and in all practical aspects of the fellowship program.
Facilitate the community covenants for each ACESJU community and support them in actualizing their community life and residency requirements of the program.
Facilitate individual development goals for each fellow in the four value pillars of the ACESJU program through individual meeting throughout the year.
Serve as mediator and facilitator for enhancement of ACESJU community life which may include assisting in resolving conflicts that may arise within the ACESJU communities.
Serve as a liaison between the organizations that lease community facilities to ACESJU and the ACESJU fellows living in said facilities.
Serve as a resource for community initiatives as determined by the ACESJU Program and the fellows.
Execute community initiatives as determined by the ACESJU Program.
Guide the ACESJU fellows in creating and managing their own shared community financial resources in an appropriate fashion.
Assist with the planning and execution of all ACESJU retreats and pilar reflection events.
Prepare recruitment materials promote the program for potential applicants accompany applicant prospects and assist applicants through the admissions process in coordination with the leadership team. This may include representing ACESJU at postgraduate service fairs and other events where potential applicants may be present.
Serve as a partner to the Department of Campus Ministry in creating and executing a culture of service across the University. This may include assisting with the undergraduate service programs at Saint Josephs University to create the pipeline of future fellows for the ACESJU program.
Assist with the sharing of Ignatian spirituality and service reflection among SJU undergraduate students consistent with the values of the ACESJU program.
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a team partner with the Department of Campus Ministry.
Assist the Director and Associate Director of Academics with integrative seminars on aspects of the ACESJU program.
Assist as needed with ACESJU fundraising and program promotion.
Engage in and assist with research and collaboration with University partners Campus Ministry or ACESJU community partner schools and organizations.
Participate in universitywide committees and initiatives as determined by the Director of the ACESJU Program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required
Bachelors degree.
13 years of experience in education or nonprofit communityfocused organizations.
Demonstrated indepth knowledge of the ACESJU Program model.
Demonstrated understanding of urban Catholic schools and organizations.
Proficiency in the use of computer communications data management social media data reporting mail merging and budget review/analysis.
Preferred
Masters degree in relevant field.
Knowledge of Catholic social teaching.
Knowledge of Ignatian spirituality and Jesuit educational values
Experience participating in or working for a postgraduate volunteer or fellowship program similar to ACESJU UCCE programs or other Catholic service organizations.
