Job Description

Marblehead High School Pathway Coordinator / Transition LiaisonSchool Year 202526Position Responsibilities:Pathway Coordinator ResponsibilitiesLead implementation and support of the DESEapproved MET Innovation Career Pathway (ICP) and any additional and manage DESE ICP Implementation & Support Grant and the Skills Capital Grant for equipment and with the Pathway Teacher Team and School Counseling Department on curriculum enrollment credentialing and dual and update the MET Website Google Classroom and Blog for student/parent engagement and program with community organizations such as MassHire NSCC Salem State and North Shore Community and cultivate partnerships with local industry professionals and and facilitate Guest speaker events Industry site visits Informational interviews Job shadowing opportunities Internships and parttime employmentCreate and distribute promotional materials for recruitment and program awareness (brochures flyers presentations).Lead weekly Pathway Teacher Team meetings and contribute to the development of a Corporate Partner Advisory recruit students at school events open houses and through middle school professional development opportunities and networking senior year 100hour internships aligned with MET career Liaison ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Special Education Transition Teacher Chairperson and Case Managers to identify students for vocational and maintain job shadowing internship volunteer and workbased learning and train Job Coaches to ensure student success during a schoolwide student job board and cultivate relationships with employers and community field trips to local businesses and and facilitate: College/career readiness workshops Community and corporate guest speaker sessions Informational interviewsConduct student interviews for internships and assist in placement as liaison between MHS staff and outside agencies companies and postsecondary institutions to promote awareness and opportunity other duties as assigned.
