We are seeking a dynamic and teamoriented individual to join our spirited team.
Support community agencies in recruiting and delivering workforce services to their clients. Build strong relationships with NWPA Job Connect key partners that raise the profile of PA CareerLink services. Provide WIOA Services where applicable.
Develop rapport and connect community job seekers to opportunities through presence
onsite as well as through virtual engagement by phone/text/video meetings
Assess individuals needs to determine eligibility for services
Coordinate referrals and complete WIOA registration and services for eligible individuals
Provide support services to eligible participants based on need
Maintain a database of all customers; keep detailed documentation of all contacts
Encourage use of virtual services
Provide technical support for individuals who need support creating accounts on state
system
Successfully collaborate with partners across Clarion Crawford Erie Forest Venango
and Warren counties for seamless service delivery
Evolve recruitment strategy over the contract period to ensure goals are met
Responsible for data tracking of services provided and utilization of the state system of
record
Responsible for weekly progress reports to the Program Manager
Implement project management skills tools and methods
Facilitate workshops at community organizations PA CareerLink and virtually
Serve as a back up for the Career Advisor
Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvement
Bachelors Degree in social work education or related area preferred
Ability to prioritize tasks document visits and contacts
Demonstrated telephone computer and written communication skills
Must be able to interact and communicate with a wide range of professionals and
demonstrate a positive professional attitude
Use language reflective of a commitment to diversity; demonstrate cultural competence
Ability to maintain flexibility as needs of contract or contractor requirements change
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
12 years of experience in providing career development assistance
Must have notable experience in a teamoriented environment
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
