CITY OF STAUNTON
Deputy Sheriff: PartTime
The City of Staunton Sheriffs Department is seeking applicants fora parttime Deputy Sheriff position for a July 12025start date. Position is responsible for courtroom security civil process and transportation of prisoners. Graduation from high school or equivalent amount of training and experience excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word required. Ability to interpret and apply regulations and laws as well as analyze situations and adopt an effective course of action also required. Current VA DCJS certification and prior law enforcement experience required.
