Environment Health & Safety (EH&S) is of strategic importance to Givaudans business and we are committed to continuous improvement and safety excellence. Reporting to the North America Regional Director of EH&S you will help set standards and procedures while leading projects that support regional strategies. You will direct and help manage all EH&S functions across three New Jersey commercial sites ensuring compliance with Givaudans policies and all applicable regulations. You will manage risks and driving cultural change to reduce the likelihood of EHS incidents in all areas of our facilities including laboratories customer sample development and offices. You will work with site leaders to promote the EHS culture and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization.

Your will report to: Regional EHS Director NOAM
You will:
Bring your Passion: Enhance the EH&S organization to deliver added value manage risks and lead cultural change to minimize the probability of EH&S incidents. Advise site management on all EH&S aspects and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Develop and implement the EH&S vision aligned with Givaudans strategy considering both global and local legislative requirements.
Mentor and Influence: Serve as the important resource for Taste and Wellbeing and Fragrance and Beauty laboratories and commercial facilities to implement the EH&S strategy. Collaborate with site leadership teams to promote a safetyfocused mindset and support site EH&S personnel in identifying and addressing risks.
Improve efficiency and Operational Excellence: Partner with site EH&S personnel to ensure the implementation of safety and health programs emergency preparedness and regulatory report submission. Ensure Indicator reporting is accurate progress is monitored and targets are met at the site level. Oversee compliance with all EHS requirements including PSM audits and closure of identified gaps.
Your professional profile includes:
A Bachelors degree in Chemistry Engineering EHS or a related field along with relevant work experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
10 years of experience in EH&S with a preference for experience in research laboratories.
Strong knowledge of New Jersey and New York EHS regulatory requirements.
Experience managing EH&S programs including air hazardous waste wastewater EPCRA and OSHA compliance programs as well as participation in Emergency Response Teams.
The established salary range for this position is $annually. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
