Overview

The Inhouse Global Database Support Team is responsible for operating the Banks most business critical and sensitive internally hosted Database infrastructure. We operate a follow the sun 24x7team located in all global regions and have Databases and staff in major hub and branch are searching for a professional who is proficient within Database (Oracle) and Other comprehensive income (OCI) Cloud environment to take on a senior role in Database support and incident and problem role requires a Database Administrator (DBA) with extensive experience in a large investment banking environment. The DBA must be expert with Oracle database administration with strong experience in Oracle Exadata Database administration configuration management performance management troubleshooting analysis and capacity planning The ideal professional will have several years of experience within database administration including experience with and OCI.

What Youll Do

• Managing global database monitoring tool Oracle enterprise manager

• Engage in Incident change and Problem management tickets finding detailed RCA

• Work closely with engineering team on new solution and certifications

• Working on banks Sybase and SQL server database estate

• Interact with application teams and provide them with solutions

• Participate in disaster recovery activities and expert level knowledge production database recovery and tuning

Skills Youll Need

• Extensive relevant experience as a Database Administrator

• Expert in Performance Tuning Query & Index Tuning Query Optimization

• Expert in Always On Availability Groups Failover Clustering Database mirroring replication and other HA technologies

• Strong project management and personal organization skills

• Experience in SSIS SSRS/ PowerBI SSAS and Powershell Automation

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with crossfunctional teams and external vendors

• Open and transparent in style and approach when working with others

• Ability to be proactive and take ownership to bring task to conclusion

Expectations

It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is$78000.00 to $111800.00. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including but not limited to a candidates skill set experience education work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
