Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Intelligent Automation Engineer to join our Digital Services and Data Analytics Practice. In this role you will be responsible for spearheading our intelligent automation offering utilizing the Microsoft PowerPlatforms framework to architect design and implement cuttingedge solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs transform their business processes and drive efficiency through automation.Please see our What We Do page to see how the Automation Engineer will impact change the public private and nonprofit sector. Automation Engineers must be willing to operate in a hybrid environment with work taking place at client site (Washington D.C. metro area) the Rios Partners office in Arlington VA and virtually from home.

The Automation Engineerwill be skilled in:

  • Solution Architecture: Lead the design and development of intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft PowerPlatforms ensuring they align with client objectives and best practices.
  • HandsOn Implementation: Take a handson approach to implement SharePoint Power BI Power Apps MS Project and other relevant Microsoft technologies to create automation solutions that drive business value.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements understand business processes and recommend automation opportunities.
  • UI Design: Develop userfriendly and intuitive user interfaces to enhance the user experience of automation solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • RPA Integration: While not a primary focus knowledge of RPA platforms such as BluePrism and UiPath would be advantageous for providing comprehensive automation solutions.

Required Education Skills and Experience

  • Consulting experience with a Big4 or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Computer Science Engineering Business etc.).
  • Proven experience in solution architecture design and implementation with a focus on Microsoft PowerPlatforms.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Power BI Power Apps and MS Project.
  • Strong UI/UX design skills.
  • Knowledge of solution architecture best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication and clientfacing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of RPA platforms and tools such as BluePrism and UiPath preferred

Additional information

  • U.S. work authorization required
  • Security Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (i.e. must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in US for past three years consecutively)
  • Must be willing to operate in hybrid environment including work inperson at client site in DC Metro area and at Rios Partners office in Arlington VA as needed (final schedule determined by team and project)
  • Must conduct all work from the continental United States

  • Dental insurance:Rios Partners covers the premium for both the employee and their dependents for a dental insurance plan through MetLife employees can purchase up to a higherlevel plan.
  • Disability insurance:Rios Partners will pay 100% of the premium for both shortterm and longterm disability insurance provided through Guardian.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays:You will be eligible for three weeks of PTO (15 days) and 12 paid holidays each year. In additional accrued PTO Rios Partners provides additional time off for both expected and unexpected events (e.g. Bereavement Leave Jury Duty Voting).
  • Parental Leave: Rios Partners celebrates employees choice to become parents. We are also aware that pregnancy and caring for an infant or a newly adopted child may cause additional life complexities. As such we provide employees twelve (12) weeks of paid leave in association with the birth of an employees own child or the placement of a child with the employee in connection with adoption or foster care. To be eligible for Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program team members must: 1) Have worked at Rios Partners fulltime for a minimum of 12 continuous months. 2) Be in good employment standing with Rios Partners (i.e. not on probation). 3) Request leave a minimum of 30 days in advance if possible. If this is not possible please place your request as soon as possible once you become aware of it. Regardless of eligibility for the Rios Partners Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program all Rios Partners employees are eligible for the Department of Labors Family and Medical Leave Act entitlements as well as Rios Partners Short Term Disability plan.
