FacultyJob Description
The Department of Computational Engineering and Mathematical Sciences is seeking a parttime adjunct instructor(s) for teaching inperson courses for the B.S. degree program in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET). The courses offered are listed in the university catalog with the prefix ESET.
Required Education and Experience:
An earned Masters degree in Electrical Communication or Computer Engineering or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.
18 graduate hours in these fields or closely related fields.
Lecture and Laboratory teaching experience (teaching assistant experience acceptable) or related industry experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Electrical Communication or Computer Engineering or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching BS level courses.
Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
Broad training in ESET related fields and industry experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills.
Interest in active and collaborative learning the instructional use of technology.
Experience with nontraditional commuter university settings.
Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
Ability to respond promptly to queries from students faculty and staff.
