About ACU

ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. All applicants must be professing Christians and willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of Abilene Christian University while employed by the university.

  • Administrative Support: Maintaining accurate and uptodate marketing billing and vendor information databases ensuring data integrity. Managing marketing budgets tracking expenses and providing regular reports on budget status and spending.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Office Reception:Maintaining a welcoming & organized environment for the front lobby area. Keep Digital signage current and project delivery station organized.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with Project and Administrative Coordinators to ensure team alignment and effective communication.
  • Project Management Support: Coordination of stakeholders on multiple marketing projects ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are recorded and completed on time. Assist Project coordinator with project tracking receiving delivering and communication.
Essential Duties
  • Maintaining marketing calendars and schedules.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues with marketing tools and systems.
  • Supporting the flow of information and assets between creative and content teams.
  • Monitoring adherence to brand standards and marketing deadlines.
  • Facilitating collaboration between various teams and partners.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of internal tools such as a database of vendors projects and contact directories.
Professional Development Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (calendar email sheets etc) and Microsoft Office tools
  • Meticulously attentive to details
  • Agility as process changes spontaneously occur.
  • Ability to independently adapt and maintain forward momentum when unexpected changes or roadblocks occur that impact daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Minimum one year Administrative or Team Support experience
Physical Demands
  • Ability to work on computer for extended amounts of time
