Job Title:Bilingual Instructional Aide
Exemption Status/ Test:Nonexempt
Reports to:Principal and Teacher(s) assigned

Minimum Salary:$13.69/ hour

Primary Purpose:
Provide instructional assistance to students under the direct supervision of a certified teacher. Assist in preparing conducting and managing classroom activites related to the implementation of the ESL program.

Education/Certification:
Associates degree two years of study at an institution of higher learning or have met formal academic assessment as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Bilinigual (Spanish/ English) required
Abilityto assist in instructional readingand writing
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work well with children
Experience:
Two years experience working with children
