Job Description
General job duties. Types of procedures required. Direct patient care care for patients requiring hemodynamic monitoring neuro devises such as bolt EUD air way managementEquipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting medication systems etc.)Cerner documentation iStat NxStage CRRT barcode scanningRequired skills and minimum years of experience.2 years ICU experience Care of critically ill adult population: medicine trauma cardiology neurosurgery account for most of the patientsSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT CRT BLS ACLS etc)BLS ACLSActive TN or compact licenseTNCC preferredShift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone Is call required If so how often Are weekends required) 12 hour shifts no callFloating to other units/departments. (If so to which units/departments)Yes Trauma ICU Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.18 beds (GICU) 22 beds (TICU)Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)1:2 sometimes a 1:3Dress Code:Navy blue or white scrubsTell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation orientation is 12 days*looking for someone with a strong work ethic that has a positive personality and demonstrates teamwork
