Job Description
Position Title: Inpatient Physical Therapist Travel AssignmentLocation: Community Hospital Grand Junction ColoradoEmployment Type: Full-Time Travel/Contract PositionPotential for Permanent Placement Overview:Community Hospital a regional leader in patient-centered care located in beautiful Grand Junction Colorado is seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist Traveler to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an interdisciplinary team that s focused on improving patient outcomes through high-quality compassionate care. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse inpatient population including post-operative medical neurological and orthopedic patients. Deliver evidence-based interventions to support patient recovery mobility and discharge readiness. Collaborate closely with physicians nursing staff case management and other therapists to ensure coordinated care. Accurately document patient progress outcomes and discharge recommendations in the electronic medical record. Required to work weekend and holiday shifts. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent) Current Physical Therapist license in Colorado (or compact eligible) BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient or acute care physical therapy preferred Strong clinical reasoning documentation and patient communication skills Why Community HospitalAt Community Hospital we believe in creating a culture of excellence where team members feel valued supported and inspired to grow.
