Join us in making a tangible impact! Were seeking a dedicated and holisticallyminded Behavioral Health Professional for our LGBTQIA2S Clinical Services Specialist Choice Care Coordinator role at Multnomah County Health Department Behavioral Health Division. This is an extraordinary opportunity to deliver crucial care coordination and support to individuals with complex mental health and substance use needs ensuring they receive culturally competent and comprehensive services and promoting communitybased solutions.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: This position requires extensive knowledge of and experience working with the LGBTQIA2S community as well as broad knowledge of culturally matching community resources. This role provides outreach engagement and care coordination to help LGBTQIA2S individuals overcome barriers to health care. The role also requires an indepth understanding of how to support the needs of LGBTQIA2S people with a multitude of intersecting identities (ex: BIPOC immigrant/refugee differentlyabled etc). This is demonstrated by knowledge of cultural norms within the LGBTQIA2S community as well as having a close affiliation with and lived experience in the LGBTQIA2S community.

Teleworking: At this time this position is designated to routine telework meaning you will be working remotely (from home and community) most of the time; a hybrid schedule also is available. As with all routine telework positions employees may be required to come into the office on occasion. The designation of Routine Telework may be subject to change at a future time. Currently all employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations.

Serving the Public Even During Disasters

Everyday Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather natural disaster or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses while typically there begins with a call for volunteers county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
